The ending of The Sandman Season 2 episode 12 was centered around Death’s death. On her day off, Death randomly met a journalist called Sexton, who was on the brink of committing suicide because he was overwhelmed by the state of the world and he had gone through a brutal breakup with Sylvie. Death gave him the offer of going to her place so that she could help him get patched up after he took a nasty fall on a pile of garbage.
